Sacred Mums – 1 Corinthians 7:14
We often neglect the subject of motherhood, but it is a relevant topic to all of us – at the very least, we were all born of a mother. It is also an incredibly important and significant role within the church, and should be viewed as such. It is means whereby Jesus can be taken into the home and the family, even if the mum is the only Christian in that place (which is mainly who the apostle Paul is addressing in this verse). Mums can bring godly influence.
How can a loving God allow natural disasters like Haiti to happen?
In recent weeks we have seen the utter devastation that has come about in Haiti with nearly 230,000 people having been estimated to have died as a result of an earthquake. When you consider the million people who have been left homeless and destitute as well, it causes deep emotion and a very real sense [...]
Men and Women of Honour: Tony and Claire Coggan
Tony and Claire Coggan: A Family that loves Jesus.. Radically Tony: I became a Christian in 1972. Creative Arts

Vision Statement: "To help creative artists develop their skills and have opportunity to express themselves in ways which promote Christian values."

dramaGod is a creative being, and He has shared this attribute with us, giving us the ability to be creative, too. So we celebrate creativity in almost all of its forms. Historically, the Christian Church has focused on the arts of architecture, music and painting, but latterly drama, dance, photography, film-making, and many others have begun to be explored.

We enage in many creative activities, and occasionally run workshops and other events to help inspire those who want to explore new avenues. In addition, we run a choir.

Check out the CCK worship team, where musical craft and endeavour is firmly joined to a commitment to honouring God, providing us with a superb musical foundation for our worship meetings. CCK elders John Hosier, Dave Fellingham and Terry Virgo have all published books, and many other church leaders and members have also made an impact in the bookshop's range of books and CDs.

Watch this space for forthcoming creative events.
