Marriage Preparation

Which of us is going to balance the cheque book? And how many children do you think we should have?

Which of us is going to balance the cheque book? And how many children do you think we should have?

Couple2Our marriage preparation course helps engaged couples plan for the adventure of their new life together. You will begin to explore your strengths and differences - how you will complement each other in the various roles within marriage.

Friendship & support

Each engaged couple is linked up with a married couple for encouragement, discussion, prayer, support and to help consider a range of important questions, in an informal setting.

The course helps each couple consider issues they will face in their marriage, such as managing the finances, conflict resolution, expectations (physical pleasure, children, where to settle, etc) and essential matters such as how to enjoy the engagement while preparing for a marriage AND planning a wedding – perhaps two of the busiest spells in anyone’s life, which naturally have to be faced at the same time.

If you haven’t already please review the Getting Engaged? section, then to discuss getting involved in this course, contact office@cck.org.uk

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word
Ephesians 5: 25-26
