We often neglect the subject of motherhood, but it is a relevant topic to all of us – at the very least, we were all born of a mother. It is also an incredibly important and significant role within the church, and should be viewed as such. It is means whereby Jesus can be taken into the home and the family, even if the mum is the only Christian in that place (which is mainly who the apostle Paul is addressing in this verse). Mums can bring godly influence.

In recent weeks we have seen the utter devastation that has come about in Haiti with nearly 230,000 people having been estimated to have died as a result of an earthquake. Youth

Young people: full of life, exuberance, fun, passion, chocolate, fizzy drinks, laughter, opinion & sweets

For many years we have had a thriving youth ministry at CCK, reaching young people from all walks of life. Indeed, some of the youngsters who were part of the 11-14s work or the 15-18s group have grown in their faith and are now serving God in various ways.

Arts Some have even developed into church leadership - and for this we thank God for his grace at work among us.

The youth team has always placed the emphasis on Christian life lived to the full, making sure that the combination of Bible teaching, worship and genuine good fun is maintained.

Custom-designed

For example, club nights are packed with high-energy sports and games, plus the chilled-out area for conversation and the ever-present tuck shop, plus selected video games and background sounds.

Chocolates The youth teams ensure that the teaching time is always custom-designed for the age group, with clear Bible teaching, relevant worship and and an approachable style.
