'Friends First Open Day 2009'

Each year the Friends First house opens its doors to the local community, financial contributors, partnering agencies and friends of the house.

This year we are very much looking forward to demonstrating the fantastic work that has taken place in the house over the last year.

There will be food, entertainment, games and live music with an opportunity to talk with the staff team and current residents about the work of Friends First.

The Open Day will take place on Friday 25th September and run from 1pm until 5pm.

Lets hope for good weather!

'Just Walk' 2009

The May sponsored walk was a great day out for Dave, Lainey and Warren. Although sponsorship is still coming in it is estimated that they raised over £200 for the Friends First House!

'Hike for the House'

A sequence of organised walks took place during September, organised by the local chairty Healthwalks, raising over £300!  A big thank you to all who took part and those who sponsored our walkers.

May Car Boot Sale

Our May car boot sale, organised by staff and residents, managed raise £78 for the House.....some negotiating skills at work there!
